Thanks to ongoing domination on Tik Tok charts, Flo Milli‘s breakout hit – ‘Never Lose Me‘ – continues to prove itself a winner.
As if becoming the first Hot 100 top 20 hit of her career wasn’t enough to boast, the Gerreaux-produced bop – which serves as the latest taste of music set to line her next album ‘Fine Ho Stay‘ – can also brag about love it’s receiving outside of Billboard.
See what we mean inside.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) gifted Flo (born Tamia Monique Carter) quite the Valentine’s Day gift when they awarded ‘Lose’ a Gold plaque on February 14.
For context, Gold denotes sales equivalence of 500,000 in the United States.
Released December 1, ‘Lose’ landed an RIAA certification faster than any other tune Carter’s released to date and marks the fifth time of her career she’s had a song certified as high or higher.
With her latest plaque, Milli’s cumulative single sales have risen to 2.5 million in the U.S.
Congratulations … astafirullah
