Despite rendering a plethora of hits over her nearly 40-year career, fans of Kylie Minogue would be surprised to know she only owned one GRAMMY before 2024 (which she collected at the show’s 46th annual ceremony for her ‘Fever‘ hit ‘Come Into My World‘).
Fast forward 20 years later, the Aussie Pop Queen can finally boast ownership of another golden gramophone thanks to her international 2023 smash ‘Padam Padam.’
Ahead of Sunday’s main show (February 4), it was revealed that the ‘Tension‘ hit had been awarded the Best Pop Dance Recording trophy – defeating the likes of David Guetta, Troye Sivan, and Calvin Harris for the triumph.
She makes history as the first recipient of this new award.
Also coming as the second GRAMMY of her career, the victory arrives as the latest career win for the Australian Pop star who has spent the last year dominating global headlines thanks to the success of ‘Padam’ and a sold-out Vegas residency.
