Camila Cabello Says New Sound Isn’t ‘Some Master Rebrand Plan’

Published: Thursday 28th Mar 2024 by Ryan

Camila Cabello is opening up about her sonic shift and the process behind it.

More details below…

Sitting down with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Cabello shared why she decided to go in a different sonic direction on her latest singe ‘I Luv It.’

“Maybe I’ve been chronically online too much the last few days, but it’s not some master rebrand plan. It really has all just started from curiosity and what would be unexplored territory and what would be exciting for me. I’ve been in this industry for 11 years so it’s pretty easy to get bored,” she said.

‘I Luv It’ was released on March 27 and sees the singer experiment with elements of hyper pop, a new sound from her last album’s Spanish influence.
