Alongside the Friday (March 8) release of Ariana Grande‘s new single ‘We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),’ the nearly 4-year wait for a new album from the Pop diva came to a close thanks to the unveiling of the tune’s parent album ‘Eternal Sunshine.’
Having already given fans (affectionately called #Arianators) a sample of the LP’s offerings courtesy of the chart-topping smash ‘Yes, And?,’ Grande’s now followed with what promises to be just as big of a smash.
“We can’t be friends / But I’d like to just pre-tend / You cling to your papers and pens / Wait until you like me again / Wait for your love / My love, I’ll wait for your love,” she wails on the Max Martin-produced cut.
Ahead of the release of its accompanying music video later Friday morning (10am EST) and a debut live performance on ‘SNL’ on Saturday (March 9), get acquainted with ‘Friends’ inside.
