Fresh from acheiving GRAMMYs glory, Victoria Monét was bestowed with another honor at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards this week.
Presented with the Rising Star salute, the singer-songwriter celebrated the win by delivering a dynamite rendition of her breakout bop, ‘On My Mama.’
The infectious empowerment anthem has thus far topped the US R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay. It has also peaked at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100.
No stranger to penning hits for others (including Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, and Fifth Harmony), Monét is finally receiving on her own accord. And it’s oh-so deserved.

Everyones sooo quick to consume artistry and art soo fast , everyone just worrying about what’s gonna be number one this week or next week and charts and what’s popping rn. We’re not l giving ourselves time to actually digest music anymore !!! And i hate that
The choreography is way off it doesn’t match the song .
She be trying to do the most, however the dance steps don’t match with the slow tempo of the song. Not sure I understand. Also her vocals are no it.
She should utilize prerecorded vocals when she’s dancing.
