New Song: Khalid – ‘Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me’

Published: Friday 5th Apr 2024 by Sam

Khalid returns with his brand new single ‘Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me.’

Built on a sample of Alicia Keys‘ contemporary classic ‘Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready),’ the piercing track is driven by the crooner’s powerful vocals and compelling penmanship.

Co-written and produced by Jason Kellner, Denis Kosiak, and Jef Villaluna, the personal cut serves as the first taste of Khalid’s forthcoming third studio album.

Speaking on the track, the multi-platinum singer said:

“The last few years consisted of me working diligently on what I presume to be my best and most personal album yet. I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time in the studio working with some of my favorite creatives just to deliver this amazing body of work and now I finally get to share a piece of me in my new era with my day one fans!”

Is Khalid considered R&B? Or pop/Adult Contemporary?

I always considered him like the male Lizzo. “Safe” music white people enjoy.

Wait…so me wondering what genre Khalid is gets deleted, but all of these racist, misognystic comments get to stay up?

And y’all wonder why pinned posts don’t get comments. If it’s not drama, the trolls don’t engage.
