Pink and Pharrell are the latest set of musicians to enter a legal battle.

Rolling Stone reports that the two musicians are feuding over the trademark “P.Inc” with Pink saying that Pharrell’s attempted trademark will cause confusion with her own name an subsequently damager her business.
Pink previously registered that trademark “PINK” in 2001 and believes that the other one will “cause confusion, mistake and/or deception” among the public.
Pharrell’s company has countered her statement and said that the trademark is for the producer’s “promotional marketing services in the field of music.”
This is not the first time that Pharrell’s trademark has been the subject of a dispute as it previously received pushback from Victoria’s Secret last year with the company claiming it uses “Pink” in its branding. They have also indicated confusion, claiming a similar argument as the artist, Pink.
