Taking to press, Billboard announced that Swift’s album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ rules their 200 chart for a third week. The album was able to do so with sales of 282,000 equivalent album units.
Of that sum streaming units made up 229,500 units (equating to 298.33 million on-demand official streams) as well as 51,000 traditional album sales and 1,500 track equivalent units.
Notably, it becomes Swift’s first album since her ‘Folklore’ album in 2020 to spend its first three weeks on top of the charts. Additionally, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ scores the biggest third-week sales for any album since Swift’s own ‘Midnights’ album in 2022.
