Camila Cabello and Drake have teamed up for some new music.

During an interview with Billboard, Cabello shared new insights about her songs ‘Hot Uptown’ and ‘Uuugly.
“He’s the f**king GOAT, so it felt like shooting for the stars. I showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough, and he really liked it. [The feature] came out of a nontransactional place,” Cabello said of Drake.
“Why does he have his own song? Because selfishly, I just want to hear Drake on my own album. I love that for me — it’s like that rebellious mood. Who says I can’t do that? It’s Drake talking his s**t,” said of the other collaboration.
Her new album, ‘C,XOXO’ will be released on June 28.

Drake is hardly rent a rapper. He’s too expensive for most. It’s mostly transactional… Interscope paid a lot to sign Camilla. Interscope is under the universal banner just like drakes music so it’s probably cheaper for them to score a hit this way.
Lil Nas x is thirsty for a hit after his album campaign flopped so probably did the collab for free. The Riri sample on “I luv it” was a desperate attempt to capitalise on the Where’s Rihanna movement…
