Diddy‘s statement on the shocking video of him attacking Cassie isn’t finding favor within the singer’s legal camp.
Apologizing and attempting to contextualize the 2016 incident, the embattled mogul claimed that he had “hit rock bottom” at the time of the brutal assault and professed his regret.
However, a lawyer on the team that represented Cassie in the now-settled rape and violence lawsuit leveled against Diddy has spoken up and out condemning his “apology.”

In a statement issued to TMZ, Cassie’s attorney Meredith Firetog said:
“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt.
When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.
That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”

You cannot apologize for something like that in general but he’s speaking like that was a one time thing. He abused her on multiple occasions and other women (and men) as well. He’s not remorseful. He regrets this getting caught on camera.

Diddy’s so called apology is a load of BS, I fully agree with Cassie’s lawyer. He’d still be calling her a liar if not for the release of that video. So now he expects us to believe that the video was the only time he behaved that way? An isolated incident for which he sincerely apologises? Yeah right, like I said, BS.
