Joining the ranks of some of music’s most revered acts including Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan, George Clinton, Snoop Dogg, and more, the iconic Mariah Carey is readying the launch of her very own ‘Words + Music’ installment as part of Audible’s groundbreaking franchise.

Titled ‘Portrait of a Portrait,’ the Songbird Supreme will not only welcome listeners into a never-before-heard journey into her creative process but also new music and stories from earlier in her career.
In relation to the former, her fans (affectionately called #Lambs) can expect to hear a House-inspired remix of her song ‘Portrait‘ found aboard 2018’s critically acclaimed ‘Caution‘ album.
“Portrait of a Portrait is an in-depth journey into my inner life as a songwriter, and I’m excited to welcome listeners into the Butterfly Lounge for a unique, unfiltered exploration of my creative process and the meaning behind some of the songs closest to my heart,” said Carey.
Mariah’s addition to the ‘Words + Music’ library will mark its milestone 40th volume.
