On May 14, the Colombian pop star shared that her song ‘Puntería’ will serve as the official anthem for coverage of Copa América this year.
The event will begin next month on June 20 and will include 10 national teams from the CONMEBOL. Those teams will be Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, and Venezuela among others. In total, 16 teams will battle it out on the soccer field for the title.
‘Puntería’ features rapper Cardi B and appeared on Shakira’s latest studio album. The song draws influence from disco and infuses it with modern pop sounds.
