Moments ago, it was announced that the diva is axing the ‘This is Me…Now Tour’ – which was set to kick off in a mere matter of weeks.
A statement from Live Nation read:
“[Lopez] is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
The singer herself said:
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”
I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
The drama comes amidst growing speculation around her marriage to Ben Affleck and following the prior cancellation of select dates.
While there was some suggestion around weak ticket sales being the cause for the latter, data suggests there had been a major rise in the trek’s overall sales of late. Sources are adamant that this wasn’t the reason for the cancelation.
