The pop star appeared on the ‘Broken Record’ podcast where she shared that she does not want to be another pop girl.
In conversation, she speaks on fame and her relationship with it.
“I don’t try to cater to what people expect from me. I just follow my own instincts. I gravitate to people who take risks and make fresh choices. I don’t want to be perceived as a pop star,” she begins.
“That is what I am working towards. I don’t want to be a pop girl. I just want to be me outside of that.”
Her words comes as she gears up to release her new album ‘C,XOXO’ due out this Friday (June 28).
