Taking to her Twitter account, Tinashe retweeted the news that ‘Nasty’ had reached #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and quoted the tweet with her own caption.
“Billboard matched my freak wow,” she said.
The song has been a runaway success for Tinashe after it went viral on the video sharing platform TikTok. The song was released independently, however, the singer does have a publishing deal with Nice Life Recording Company, founded by songwriter Ricky Reed, who co-wrote and produced the song.
