There will be features on the album that have been described as “fire.” Additionally, the 8 songs that were previewed were described as “bops.”
People also said that the record is a record meant to be danced to and event went as far as to label it “her best work” as well as her ‘Emancipation of MiMi,’ in terms of comeback potential.
Perry has not said much about the project in terms of when it can be expected to be released or what song will be the first single.

I like her she had good pop hits, we really need good pop again for escapism.
I hope it’s finally a hit for her. She’s never recovered from that horrible pixie cut.

A shame. She was on top of her game until that era. When her music leans into urban territory she sometimes looks so out of place. Like she has no rhythm. Her trying to dance/perform with Migos was cringe. Katy would do well going country for this album. Her voice suits this. Then return to pop/dane pop whatever she did during teenage dreams, that worked for her. No more pixie cuts or bizarre eyeball album covers.
Her her last few albums have great imo Witness and Smile was fun mature pop albums that were slept on imo…can’t wait for the new album.
