Normani Confesses Previous “Management” Was Part of the Reason for Patchy Album Delay

Published: Friday 28th Jun 2024 by Sam

Normani is getting candid about the delays that, for many years, defined her finally unlocked debut album, ‘Dopamine.’

The ‘Candy Paint’ singer has been frank about the personal hurdles that halted the process of piecing the LP together – namely the cancer diagnosis of both of her parents.

During an interview with Zach Sang, the R&B belle got frank about the professional issues that caused the staccato launch of the LP; a project she has been working on releasing for five years.

Full story below…

Opening up on the roadblocks she has encountered, Normani confessed:

“There’s been so much resistance during this process for me, which makes this moment even sweeter and mean more. Just because of everything I’ve had to endure during the span of the last few years of my life. Both personally and musically.”

Continuing on the topic, she shared:

“It’s logistics. There’s a lot things [that were happening behind the scenes]. Management [changes] was a huge part of that for me. But it ended up being the best thing.”

With that, what are…

I honestly don’t think her heart is in it anymore…which, if true, is OK. She doesn’t seem fully present and engaged. Maybe she’s just kind of beat down from the process which is understandable. I hope she can get back to a place at which she enjoys what she does.

Maybe her stans need to stop attacking bigger artist than Normani. I noticed they been attacking Chloe, Doja, Camila and Tinashe. That’s a no no.
