Taking to press, the Official Charts Company shared that Carpenter occupies the #1 and the #2 spots on this week’s singles chart with her songs ‘Please Please Please’ and ‘Espresso.’
As a result, she makes history as the youngest artist to ever achieve this feat.
Aged 25 years, 1 month and 10 days, Sabrina surpasses the record previously held by Ariana Grande. Grande was 25 years, 7 months and 20 days old when she achieved the record in February 2019, with ‘7 rings’ and ‘break up with your girlfriend,’ I’m bored occupying.
Both ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’ were the most streamed songs during the week in the country.
