Celine Dion is gearing up to make her grand return to live performing on one of the biggest stages of them all – the Olympics 2024.
Full story below…
According to Variety, the legendary diva is prepping a huge performance at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris-hosted edition of the Olympic Games this Friday (July 26).
It would mark Dion’s first performance since pausing her live scheduling and bowing out of the spotlight to battle Stiff Person Syndrome – the incurable condition she revealed she had been diagnosed with in December 2022.
This summer, during promotion for her hit Prime Video documentary ‘I Am Celine Dion,’ the songbird teased an imminent return to the stage.
And, per sources, the time is now.
As of writing, there’s been no official word from Dion’s camp or Olympic officials. But, with the Opening Ceremony around the corner, it’s safe to expect details imminently.
She probably gonna lip sync
The documentary didn’t give the impression that she would be ready anytime soon, but maybe her medical team found a remedy since then.
So wait… Yesterday LADY gaga was supposed to be performing, today it’s Celine? Despite neither artist being French or having a particular connection to France? Don’t @ me About Celine being a Francophone, that’s because she’s from quebec not France as per say
