If Ice Spice fans weren’t already itching to get their hands on her eagerly awaited debut album ‘Y2K‘ (due on digital shelves July 26), her high-octane performance at the BET Awards on Sunday night (June 30) likely sent their collective impatience into overdrive.
Ahead of the showing, Spice (born Isis Naija Gaston) took to the event’s red carpet to chat it up about her Versace gown, expectations of the night, and more.
While chatting it up with ET’s Deidre Behar, Gaston coyly discussed an unnamed collaboration she “locked in” and responded to rumors the duet partner was none other than Pop megastar Taylor Swift.

As Hip-Hop heads await news on the LP’s official tracklist, Spice sent their buzz into overdrive by confirming she’s secured multiple collaborations that will undoubtedly get them excited.
“There’s a couple,” the 24-year-old teased to ET on Sunday. “That’s all I can say.”
When pressed to name-drop, Ice was asked if her ‘Karma‘ co-creator Taylor Swift was on the list.
“I don’t know, let’s see, let’s see, let’s see,” she said without ruling out the possibility.
The ambiguous reply was enough to get her followers and #Swifties buzzing as the fan groups are undoubtedly looking for a repeat of the success of the superstars’ hit ‘Karma’ (which became the rapper’s highest-charting hit to date when it peaked at #2 on the Hot 100).
