It’s liftoff season Little Mixs Jade Thirlwall.

The songbird has taken flight with her debut solo single ‘Angel of My Dreams.’

And it looks like it’s set to zoom in high on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Full story below…

Per Official Charts, the song – which has launched with seismic streams – is currently pacing towards becoming the highest new entry on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Midweek figures have Thirlwall’s eclectic effort eyeing the #2 spot amid a showdown with BTS star Jimin‘s ‘Who’ (which is currently less than 100 units behind at #3).

Speaking on the release, which is poised to become the highest charting Little Mix solo single to date, Thirlwall said:

“I didn’t want to do a safe first single, that was really important to me. I’m setting the tone of who I am as an artist on my own. I want people to hear it and be like ‘what the f*ck is that song?’. My worst nightmare is for someone to hear my song and go ‘that’s nice’.”

On her broader mission, she adds:

“This dawn of Pop girls giving people everything is so exciting. It couldn’t be better timing for my music. I’m so proud of it and I can say that with chest. The fans have waited long enough so now we just want to give it to them.”

This is how you differentiate yourself and get people to take you seriously, post girl-group. I hope it works out for her. She’s definitely talented

Pleasantly surprised. Hopefully her album is as concept driven as this, I found Perrie’s debut a bit meh. Leigh-Anne’s was okay but she’s not offering anything different to other pop rnb leaning girls. Jesy, debut was cringe as f
