Usher brought the hits and heat to the Essence Festival of Culture 2024!
The King of R&B took center stage at the Superdome in New Orleans and blew the proverbial roof off the building with a seismic set that centrally celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Diamond-certified ‘Confessions’ album.
During the epic performance, the icon thrilled with ‘Yeah,’ ‘Superstar,’ ‘Burn,’ ‘My Boo,’ and many non-singles from the mega-selling LP. Indeed, as promised, he performed the entire project from top to bottom in a rare treat specially cultivated for the 30th anniversary of the world-renowned festival.
And while nostalgia defined Usher’s offering, he still slotted in the new-new in the form of his recent hit ‘Good Good.’

Meanwhile Usher can sing Live while dancing at the same time and still sound like the recorded song. Chris Brown can’t even sing Live without an autotune microphone. Usher and more Number one songs, has sold more actual albums and records. Has more Grammys. American Music awards and Billboard awards.

The setlist sucks! Better not be the same setlist for the upcoming tour
It was a special tribute to the Confessions album. What did you expect?
Set list sucks?? Meanwhile it’s basically every song from the last R&B album that has sold over 15 million in the United States alone and over 25 million worldwide.
