According to Variety, the actor and rapper has signed with Slang, a record label that is helmed by Rene McLean.
Their current talent list includes: Camper, Underachievers, and Isaia Huron.
McLean is most known for his work at Influence Media, where he led major catalog acquisition deals for Future, Tyler Johnson, and superstar Puerto Rican songwriter-producer Tain.
Before joining Influence, he previously worked with such talent as Missy Elliot, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, and more.
The news of Smith’s signing to a music label comes after he released his song ‘You Can Make It’ earlier this year.
