In tragic news, musician Fatman Scoop has died.

As reported, the hitmaker, famed for his unmistakable presence on classics from the likes of Faith Evans, Mariah Carey, and Missy Elliott, collapsed onstage in Hamden, Connecticut last night (August 30).
Medics rushed to administer CPR and rushed him to hospital.
Sadly, the performer (born Isaac Freeman III) did not make it. He died at age 53.
The news was announced by his tour manager and fellow DJ Birch Michael, who also goes by Pure Cold. He wrote:
“I am honestly lost for words… You took me all over the world and had me performing alongside you on some of the biggest and greatest stages on this planet, the things you taught me have truely made me the man I am today.
Thank you so much, I love you x”
Reminisce Festival, where the beloved hype-man was set to perform a week from today (September 7), also issued a statement confirming the star’s death:
