The ongoing saga between Kehlani and her ex Javaughn Young-White has added a dramatic new chapter.

For, fresh from her former flame filing for custody of their daughter and then apologizing for the salacious aspects of his petition, the singer has been granted a restraining order against.. him.

This comes after she unpacked allegations of multiple forms of abuse.

TMZ reports that the performer sought formal protection from Young-White – the father of her 5-year-old daughter Adeya Nomi. This, after alleging that he smashed through her locked bedroom door in June.

The behavior, she claims, is part of a pattern of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse that is having a negative effect on their daughter.

According to Kehlani, Young-White flew into a fit of rage after she questioned him about a “public assistance” note she received in the mail in relation to him.

See, he was living in her back house at the time – a period in which she alleges he smoked copious amounts of weed, took mushrooms, and was surrounded by chaotic clutter.

Per Kehlani, her probing infuriated Young-White who broke into her room and berated her with words such as “b*tch” and “liar.” It’s further claimed that he blamed her for their daughter’s birth, said he was “trapped,” and stressed that his life had been “ruined.”

As for the risk she says he poses to their child, she adds that their daughter would spend a lot of time with her father in his living area – only to come back reeking of weed.

Adding to what she calls overwhelming “chaos and abuse,” Kehlani stressed that Young-White makes a habit of disappearing. He’s accused of intermittently picking their daughter up from school during these periods, leaving Kehlani with no concrete idea of their whereabouts.

The weight of the songbird’s claims saw a judge sign off on a temporary order forbidding Young-White to come within 100 yards of the star or their daughter.

A hearing has been set for September.

Pending then, Kehlani was also granted full custody of their daughter.
