KRCG TV reports that the MC was detained early Wednesday morning (August 7).
According to the police fling, the 49-year-old star (born Cornell Haynes II) was arrested for possession of four ecstasy pills and for not having insurance.
The performer, who is expecting a child with wife Ashanti, was arrested at 4:45 am and taken to the Maryland Heights Police Department,
Nelly, who has since been released, has yet to make a public statement.

He’s too old to keep putting himself in front of a judge. He went from r*** allegations to drug charges and he hasn’t even been married a year with a baby on the way. Ashanti deserves better.
