Nearly 8 years separate fans of Eric Benét from a new body of work, but the wait for the follow-up to his 2016 eponymous album came to a close on Friday (August 23) with the release of the ‘Duets‘ EP.
A star-studded affair featuring contributions from fellow music veterans Chante Moore, Tamar Braxton, Ledisi, LaTocha Scott, and Corinne Bailey-Rae, the 5-song project was preceded to Billboard 200 battle by the Braxton-assisted single ‘Something We Can Make Love To‘ (released in June).
Tiding fans over until Benet puts the final touches on his next studio effort, some songs from ‘Duets’ will get the live treatment when the 4x GRAMMY nominee kicks off in September with stops slated for St. Louis, Philadelphia, Nashville, Boston, and more.
Ahead of that highly anticipated live jaunt, get familiar with the new EP inside.
