According to TMZ, he was apprehended by authorities at the airport on August 5. As for the reason for his arrest, it was mistaken identity as authorities were looking for another man with the name Clifford Harris.
An automatic extradition hearing was issued because the arrest warrant for another man named Clifford Harris was put into place in another state.
The warrant for that man included charges of stalking and acting violently towards a woman.
T.I. was released within two hours of his arrest. However, he has not addressed the incident as of reporting.
