Stopping by Apple Music to dish on ‘SOS.’ Monét revealed that it is one of two tracks she worked on with the King of R&B.
She told host Eddie Francis:
“Quiet as it’s kept, we have another song together. It’s coming…in the future. I don’t know when. We were working together on that song, so he came to the studio to work more on that. And, when he got there, I was working on ‘SOS.’ But I just had the hook only. So, he was like ‘let me hear what you’ve been working on.’ I play it. After the hook goes off, he starts mumbling a melody. He finished his parts in Atlanta.”
As the the age old adage goes, the rest was history. Monét added: “it felt so organic and so special, so we were like ‘let’s rock with both.'”

The reveal comes as ‘SOS’ reigns at #1 on the US iTunes R&B Chart.
As reported, the seductive cut is lifted from the forthcoming deluxe edition of ‘Jaguar II’ – which Monét confirms will feature many new songs.
