Sabrina Carpenter is queen of the Billboard 200 once again.
More details below…
Taking to press, Billboard announced the top 10 albums for the chart dated September 14. Leading the tally was none other than ‘Short n’ Sweet’ by Carpenter.
The album was album to stay at #1 for a second consecutive week thanks to the sale equivalent of 159,000 album units.
Notably, in the last year, there have only been three other albums to log a second week as big as ‘Short n’ Sweet.’ Taylor Swift‘s ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ earned 245,000 units in its second week, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ earned 439,000 units in its second week and Drake‘s ‘For All The Dogs’ earned 164,000 in its second week.
Organic success no Payola was used for this era. I can deff see her having a total of 5-6 singles off of this project; the album is cohesive and great production aswell as lyricism. I hope she makes Bed Chem the next single. It definitely samples and reminds me of So Into You Tamia & Fabulous.
