Barely a month after trotting into an exclusive diva club thanks to her milestone Hot 100 top 40 hit ‘Mamushi,’ rapper Megan Thee Stallion has galloped to yet another placement in the chart region thanks to her most recent smash ‘Neva Play.’
The RM-assisted cut debuted at #36 on the refreshed Hot 100. Here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Streaming ≈ 8.8 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales ≈ 16,000 digital downloads
- Radio Airplay ≈ .1 million audience impressions
Thanks to digital sales of 16,000 (the most of any song that charted on the Hot 100 this week), RM landed his first top 40 entry on the Hot 100.
For Meg, ‘Neva’ marks her 21st – tying her with the career record of Hip Hop icon Missy Elliott. Among female rappers, only Cardi B (34) and Nicki Minaj (75) have amassed more top 40 hits.
