Taking to press, the latest Spotify update was given and SZA has made history because of it. Her latest album, ‘SOS’ has garnered over 9 billion streams on the platform.
As a result, it is not only one of the most streamed albums ever by a female artists, but also the most streamed album ever by a Black female artist.
The album included big hits like ‘Kill Bill,’ which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also included the radio smash ‘Snooze,’ which went on to become one of the year’s biggest hits last year.

SZA’s ‘CTRL’ now holds the record for longest charting streak for any female album in Billboard 200 history (378 consecutive weeks).
It breaks a tie with Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’.

I love SZA. Is it just me, I wonder how she’ll look in like ten years time. She looks so plastic. But whatever, she still has a unique sound and her songs are authentic.
