Amid the sea of legal woes that’s plagued their household over the last few years, superstar couple Clifford ‘T.I.’ Harris and Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris can finally boast a courtroom victory.
Details inside.
After making headlines with their lawsuit against conglomerate MGA Entertainment on allegations the toy manufacturers’ L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. doll line violated the intellectual property rights of their teen Pop group The OMG Girlz, the Harris’ clan was awarded $71 million in damages after a three-week trial.
Per the Daily Journal, the lengthy legal battle comes as their third attempt to sue MGA after an initial trial ended in mistrial and the second ended in favor of the toy makers.
This time, the ruling benefitted the Harrises and asserted that the MGA dolls copied the likeness of the Atlanta-based Pop group’s likeness without permission.
T.I. and Tiny formed the OMG Girlz in 2009 with her daughter Zonnique Pullins as the lead singer.
T.i & tiny better make sure they pay all of the members OMG Girls not just, Zonnique.
I hope Tiny go get proper work done. I don’t think it will be embarrassing for her to talk to Cher or Kim Kardashian
