In breaking news, a trial date in Diddy‘s sex trafficking case has officially been set.

A judge has just confirmed that the embattled mogul will stand trial beginning May 5, 2025.

As reported, the Bad Boy founder has been hit with federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution.

Sharing the news at a hearing today in Manhattan, Judge Arun Subramanian’s ruling is in tandem with the defense team’s request for a contextually quick start to the trial.

Prosecutors from the US Attorney’s office told Judge Subramanian, Combs, and others in attendance that a superseding indictment could be in the offering. That means that a current charge against Combs may be thrown out, replaced or that fresh charges may be coming.

Diddy, born Sean Combs, has been behind bars since September 16 – with various attempts at securing a release on bail proving futile.

Supported by his mother and children at today’s hearing, the 54-year-old is facing life in prison if convicted.
