Amber Rose may have fielded some stinging criticism over the summer when she appeared as a guest speaker at the 2024 Republican National Convention (RNC), but that paled in comparison to the stinging she received last week when she slammed Beyonce with plagiarism claims over the music diva’s speech at Kamala Harris‘ campaign rally on Friday (October 25).

As reported here, Destiny’s Child alums Beyonce and Kelly Rowland joined forces to publicly endorse and campaign for the Democratic presidential candidate at a rally in their hometown of Houston, Texas on Friday.
And though the duo made global headlines for their impassioned speeches, one viewer – Rose – thought content from Bey’s address sounded familiar.
“She wanna be me so bad. Literally took my whole speech,” Rose said on Instagram shortly after the music diva’s speech made waves on social media.
Igniting the singer’s fan base (affectionately called the #Beyhive) to spring to action in her defense, Amber was slammed for even suggesting there was plagiarism in Beyonce’s speech.
Later chatting it up with TMZ, the model-actress addressed the backlash.
“I was literally trolling. I troll with my friends all the time. I did not think that was going to be international news,” she said. “I love Beyonce, I know Beyonce, and we’ve hung out many times. She’s an amazing girl.”
That’s not all she said. Click PLAY on the video to watch the whole street interview.
