Despite having landed some of the biggest female Hip-Hop hits of 2024 with ‘TGIF,’ ‘Wanna Be,’ and ‘Yeah Glo,’ the success story of GloRilla shows no signs of slowing as she landed yet another Hot 100 placement this week when her latest single, ‘Hollon,’ made a handsome premiere on the all-genre chart.
Details inside.
‘Hollon’ debuted at #86 on the refreshed Hot 100; here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Streaming ≈ 6.5 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales ≈ 500 digital downloads
- Radio Airplay ≈ 0.6 million audience impressions
The SkipOnDaBeat-produced cut – which got its premiere courtesy of Glo’s blazing live performance at the 2024 MTV VMAs – has been garnering buzz across social media since.
That buzz manifested into an opening in the fourth quadrant of this week’s Hot 100 – making it the highest debut among all previously uncharted, female-led songs (regardless of genre).
To help send the ‘Glorious‘ tune to even higher heights on the hitlist, however, the GRAMMY nominee unveiled its Troy Roscoe-directed music video on Friday (October 4).
