‘Be Without You‘ belter Mary J. Blige doesn’t want to spend another ‘Christmas Without You,’ as revealed by the heartwarming new holiday tune produced by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins.
“The autumn leaves have fallen / And the winter’s calling / I wrap a gift or two / Just sitting, waiting here for you / Sooner or later I’ll need…your loving arms to hold me / God I miss us / What is Christmas love without you,” she sings on the David ‘D1’ Grant Jr.-co-produced cut.
Released Friday (October 25), the yuletide tune – which comes as a reunion for Blige and Jerkins as he’s previously contributed production to her hit albums ‘The Breakthrough’ (2005) and ‘Share My World’ (1997) – drops just weeks ahead of her highly anticipated new studio album ‘Gratitude.’

The latest festive offering from the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, ‘Without’ drops just a year after the 10th anniversary reissue of her first holiday album – 2013’s ‘A Mary Christmas.’
Ewwww there is only one Christmas Queen which is Mariah Carley! Mary old J, nice try!
Ewww old fishy wrinkly ping pong p**** from chopstick again
Lame!
It’s hard to get Christmas songs right. I personally prefer the classics and mellow jazz infused holiday songs, if any at all. However, I’m sure someone out there will enjoy this offering from Mary & Darkchild.
Mary sounds really rough these days. She lost the little bit of vocals she had left. I’m surprised she recorded a new Christmas song. She dropped a pretty successful Christmas album a few years ago. It went Gold.
I love Mary, but her voice is gone with the wind
