Rich Homie Quan‘s tragic death at just 34 years old shocked many when it was announced last month.
As reported, the rapper was found unresponsive by his girlfriend at their residence, after being presumed to be asleep. He was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead.
Now, weeks on, his official cause of death has been revealed.

Per the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, Quan (born Dequantes Devontay Lamar) died of an accidental drug overdose.
The manner of his death has been definitively ruled an accident and there was no sign of physical trauma to the body.
With toxicology reports now in, it has been shared that various drugs were discovered in Quan’s system. According to the autopsy, these included fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine, and THC.
The MC was renowned for hits such as ‘Type of Way’ and ‘Flex.’
I really wish people would leave them drugs alone ESPECIALLY FENTANYL & CODEINE. THAT SH*T AIN’T GOOD FOR ANYONE NOR WAS IT EVER SUPPOSE TO BE.
