10 years separate Jennifer Hudson fans from her last album (2014’s ‘JHUD‘), but now the singer-actress-turned-talk show host is turning the page on her music career by adding a new entry to her prized discography: ‘The Gift of Love.’
Her first holiday effort, ‘Gift’ comes as a collection of Hudson’s soaring take on Christmas classics like ‘Jingle Bells, ‘Go Tell It on the Mountain,’ ‘Little Drummer Boy,’ ‘Winter Wonderland,’ and more while also boasting new songs like ‘Almost Christmas‘ (which features her Academy and GRAMMY Award-winning boyfriend Common).
Executive produced by OneRepublic star Ryan Tedder, ‘Gift’ is a 13-track affair that also boasts production from Gospel icon Kirk Franklin as well as big names like James Poyser, Fede Vindver, and Peer Åström.

Who asked for this?
This might be a good look for Ms H-Hud.
I’m intrigued
I meant Ms. J-Hud- but a holiday album is a great look look for her.
I bought Whitney Houston’s Christmas album because I love hearing Christmas carols with real singing voices that are unmatched.
I place Jennifer in that category for my listening pleasure.
Hmm there’s something about her that’s so uninteresting. I won’t be listening to this.
