Another day, another Azealia Banks rant aimed at her peers.
Despite recently announcing she has new music loading for 2025, Banks – instead of promoting the eagerly anticipated cut – is using her platform to cut into her more successful fellow femcees.
Having long expressed her disdain for Cardi B, whom she referred to as a “c*m dumpster” earlier this month, Banks recently reiterated that contempt while taking aim at the Rap diva’s ‘WAP‘ and ‘Bongos‘ co-star Megan Thee Stallion.
“Megan makes terrible music. I think even she knows that,” she said in the unprovoked rant on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday (November 8). “And she’s not really got that aspirational ‘I want to be like her’ thing Nicki has. She has to know that most of her success and marketing sh-t is 100000% done in spite of another artist (Nicki Minaj) which automatically makes it unsustainable.”
Grouping Cardi and Meg together, Banks surmised the top-selling rapstresses are mostly enjoying success because they are “anti-Nicki Minaj.”
“Cardi and Meg are gonna feel the fallout of wedging everything against public anti-nicki sentiment because they’re both not smart enough to understand that hatred is often rooted in love,” she relayed to her 150,000 followers on the platform. “People hate Nicki because they adore her. Attention is attention. Only a dumba** would hop on and try to ride that wave without a plan b.”
She concluded her tirade by shooting a stray at Pop singer Rita Ora during an assessment of rapper-turned-business mogul JAY-Z‘s career.
“Meg The Stallion is going to be a HUGE sh-t stain on Jay-Z’s damn near flawless reputation for creating huge female stars,” she said about Meg who is signed to JAY’s Roc Nation under a management deal. “Rita Ora was the flop bird sh-t he avoided landing on his head but this Meg sh-t is Def going to land on his report card. You don’t go from Beyonce & Rihanna to Rita Ora & Meg The Stallion. Talk about a downgrade. Sheesh”
At the time of this report, Ora, Stallion, Cardi, nor JAY has responded to being blasted by Banks.
The news comes shortly after one of Azealia’s rants landed her in hot water with GRAMMY-winning superstar Lil Nas X who branded her a “botched body” chicken sacrificer in response to the unprovoked attack on his career status.
