From Ariana Grande to Billie Eilish, 50 Cent, and more, some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names have swarmed to social media to weigh in on Donald Trump‘s U.S. presidential election victory.
But few are making more noise than GRAMMY-winning rapstress Cardi B, who not only penned a heartfelt letter to double down on her support of Kamala Harris but also expressed her disappointment over the Democratic nominee’s loss by setting her sights on Trump’s supporters.
Did she take it too far?
In a now-deleted video, Cardi – as the results of the election came in on Tuesday night (November 5) – caused an uproar when she suggested some U.S. states deserve natural disasters for voting Republican.
“This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes,”she said on X (formerly known as Twitter).
While it’s not clear why she removed the video, many believe it’s due to the swarm of comments that asserted her clip was insensitive.
Nevertheless, the ‘Press‘ rapper has been getting quite the attention from Trump enthusiasts due to her ongoing support of Kamala – so much so she returned to Twitter to issue a warning.
“Y’all won, I know y’all happy,” she relayed before saying. “Ain’t nobody acting like bitter losers…Y’all need to leave me the f*ck alone. Because I got one more f*cking cigarette in me before I start lighting your *s*ses up. That’s word to the motherf*cking United States of America.”
Ouch!
