Amerie – just weeks after announcing she was finally working on a new album – sent anticipation for her new music into overdrive last week when she dropped the first preview of what’s expected to be on the LP, her first body of work since releasing a double EP in 2018.
Sending social media into a frenzy with the tease of the Troy Taylor-produced cut ‘Undeniable,’ the GRAMMY-nominated songstress is capitalizing off the buzz by unveiling a taste of yet another new song: ‘The Way You Love.’
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday night (November 12), the R&B diva – joined by Taylor – surprised her 555,000 followers with the snippet of the new song.
Branding it a toast to “real Amerie fans,” the cut certainly sounds like a nod to some of the tunes found aboard her debut album ‘All I Have‘ (2002).
At present, the songstress has not confirmed a tentative release date of the new album and has yet to answer the burning question if her longtime production partner Rich Harrison will be contributing his signature sound to the project.
