The Weeknd is bringing his new album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ to the big screen.

For, moments ago it was announced that the star has teamed up with Lionsgate on a companion film project.

And he’s tapped a number of Hollywood’s heaviest hitters to join him in the movie.

First reported last year, the then-untitled venture has been officially confirmed to be the ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ movie.

Set for global release in theaters, The Weeknd (born Abel Tesfaye) will co-star alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

Trey Edward Shults has been recruited to direct what now is being touted as a psychological thriller.
