Despite enjoying a great year thanks to history-making Diamond singles and the year’s top-performing female Rap album on Billboard (‘Pink Friday 2‘), next we look back at how Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pink Friday 2 Tour’ was her true 2024 highlight as it penciled her name in record books!
Five years separated fans of Minaj (affectionately called #Barbz) from a world tour of their fave’s, but she more than made up for the lost time with the ‘Pink Friday 2 World Tour’ designed to support her December 2023-released studio album of the same name.
Promising the outing would be “greater than every other tour combined,” the jaunt came as the most extensive live undertaking of the Rap Queen’s career.
A 79-show affair, the ‘PF2 Tour’ included TWO North American legs as well as stops in major global markets like Amsterdam (and all the drama that came with it), London, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, Copenhagen, Milan, and more.
When all was said and done, the international trek raked in a cool $108.8 million by the time it wrapped in October – a history-making sum that made it the highest-grossing female Rap tour of all time.
Among all Hip-Hop tours, it ranks #4 on the all-time list.
