From industry awards to Billboard hits and even a best-selling book, singer-actress JoJo has enjoyed a 20-year career with no shortage of milestone moments.
Now she can add a new one thanks to enduring love extended to her 2006 smash ‘Too Little Too Late’: her first Platinum plaque for a single.
The lead release from her sophomore album ‘The High Road,’ ‘Late’ already stands out in JoJo’s discography for being her first and only top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
On Friday (December 6), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the Vince Herbert-produced tune had been certified Platinum – a measure that denotes sales of 1 million in the United States.
This commercial triumph may come as a career-first for Jo among her singles, but it follows the Platinum certification her 2004 eponymous debut album.
‘Late’ is undoubtedly one of many of her hits expected to be performed live on the 2025 ‘Too Much to Say Tour.’
