On Friday (December 6), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the Vince Herbert-produced tune had been certified Platinum – a measure that denotes sales of 1 million in the United States.

This commercial triumph may come as a career-first for Jo among her singles, but it follows the Platinum certification her 2004 eponymous debut album.

Congrats. Her magnum opus. She should go back to that timeless Pop&B sound! How To Treat A Girl, Note to God and (despite its precociousness) The Way You Do Me are gems!

Better late than never, she honestly deserves more recognition for her music and vocals.
