More laughs, love, and classroom commotions are headed the way of ‘Abbott Elementary‘ lovers as ABC has ordered a fifth season of the hilarious sitcom.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (January 21), the official Abbott Elementary account assembled some of the school’s “students” to officially render the early renewal announcement.
“Season 5, here we come! Join your favorite staff and students for more #AbbottElementary on ABC and stream on Hulu,” they captioned the video.
One of the network’s highest-rated comedies, ‘Abbott’ stars Emmy winners Quinta Brunson and Sheryl Lee Ralph as well as Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, and more.
The renewal news comes just months after the cast and crew scored major pay raises for the show’s major commercial success on television and streaming platforms.
While no official premiere date is attached to season 5 yet, season 4 is slated to see its finale on April 16.
