Ariana Grande has opened up about scrapped tour plans she had for her latest album, ‘eternal sunshine.’

For months, fans have been murmuring about a potential live trek to support the LP – which is home to #1 hits ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love)’ and ‘yes, and?’
However, echoing earlier sentiments, the songbird asserts that her acting career post ‘Wicked’ is now her priority.
This time, though, she shared that news with confirmation that a tour was initially on the cards.
She told Variety:
“I was considering a mini-tour between the ‘Wicked’ films, but I’ve decided to prioritize acting for now. Performing will always be a part of my life, but I want to focus on this chapter of storytelling through film.”
Fans needn’t fret, though. Because Grande reconfirmed that an expansion of the ‘eternal sunshine’ project.
After initially teasing a deluxe, the 31-year-old outrightly revealed that it is on the way. She continued:
“Oh, she exists! It’s a very special project. I’m out there so much right now. I want to let my children miss me for two seconds. I’m excited to surprise them with it at some point, but I’m still mulling over the timing in my head. It’s not the end of ‘Peaches’ just yet, but she’s going in the closet for a minute. The album is so concise, and I didn’t want to add songs just for the sake of it. The new tracks are short, but they really count.”

She wants to film Wicked 2 and audition for an Audrey Hepburn biopic (skeletal frame is role prep), do a Broadway season after that, then film something Emmy-worthy. All for EGOT status. Ari is ambitious like that.
I thought they already filmed both Wicked 1 and 2 back to back. Yes, it’s highly likely she’s going for EGOT. She’s proving even more how capable she is to achieve this. People who so quick to judge them by their looks. If the talent is there, surely that matters most. I just wonder what shape shifting she’ll do in future eras. Ariana’s vocal ability is one of the best out there
