August Alsina is reaffixing the focus on his music after his “friend” Zu went all sorts of viral with a suggestive post of the pair.

Since the New Orleans native went public with his “love” for Zu (in a move many have interpreted as a romantic relationship), headlines have been plentiful.
And the pair appear to be leaning into the discourse.
For Zu kicked off the year with a TikTok video of himself in the car with Alsina, writing:
“Ong I’m going to climb this (Ninja) soon as we get in the crib.”

Suffice it to say, the clip and caption got the masses talking.
Replying to the chatter, Alsina took to X and said:
“To be clear, Zu comes to me before posting anything involving me.
Anyhow, he’s his own man. Let him cook!”
Following up with more, the performer added:
“Aht! Don’t do detttt.. Erybody else alr be trollin’… so let that man troll in peace! For 2025 what everyone needs to know is, if somebody is gonna support you, they’re gonna support you. If they’re not, they’re not. No ideation or perceived condition is going to either alter somebody’s investment or lack thereof. In other words. People who enjoy low hanging fruit, just enjoy low hanging fruit. & for that, there’s trolling.
