Reps for the presidential inauguration committee have confirmed that the ‘American Idol’ winner-turned-judge will form a central part of the festivities.
Underwood will reportedly perform ‘America The Beautiful’ when Trump is sworn in as the 47h president of the United States on January 20.
The 41-year-old’s showing will take place in the moments after Vice President-elect J.D. Vance is sworn in and just before Trump takes the oath.
Republican Trump won his place back in the White House after defeating Kamala Harris last November in the US election.
