Five months before Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to stand trial for federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and more, the embattled mogul has learned he has been named the defendant in yet another shocking lawsuit of sexual assault against a minor.
2024 may have been laden with complaints from accusers who claim Diddy sexually harassed or assaulted them at some point, but some of the most jaw-dropping accusations came from those who allege the interaction occurred when they were underage – one as young as 10.
The latest comes courtesy of an anonymous plaintiff (“Jane Doe”) who says Combs r*ped her when she was a 16-year-old high school student in 2000.
Alleging she was working as a babysitter in the same apartment as Diddy’s unnamed lover at the time of the incident, Doe claims she accepted his offer for a ride home but was taken elsewhere and given a mysterious drink that caused her to feel “groggy.”
Later, she says the Bad Boy mogul sexually assaulted her and then left her in the lobby of her apartment.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Combs’ legal reps quickly denied Doe’s claims.
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted, or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,” the attorneys said. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
At the time of this report the financial remedy attached to Jane’s lawsuit has not been disclosed.
